Job Title: Customer Sales Associate (Teller)
Department: Branch Sales and Service
Reports To: Branch Supervisor
Classification: Full-time; Non-exempt
Location: Customer Sales Associates will go through a trainee period, during which they complete CoreFirst Bank & Trust CSA training and will work at various Topeka branch locations. At the end of this 30-45 day period, they will be placed at a home branch.
Hours: 38 hours per week, minimum.

The Customer Sales Associate meets the day-to-day needs of the Bank’s customers by providing excellent customer service and performing transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, has an accommodating attitude toward Bank customers, and exhibits the ability to contribute as a team member, while having a sense of pride in doing high quality work.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
70% Proficiently processes customer transactions in a courteous, professional, accurate, and timely manner, following Bank policies and procedures. Answers questions, resolves problems, and recommends product solutions for customers. Assists with record keeping, branch operational logs, day-to-day customer and branch needs.
30% Maintain working knowledge of the benefits of CoreFirst Bank & Trust products and services, in order to identify product solutions for customers. Serve prospective and current customers by referring products and services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: Six months customer service experience, including cash handling, required. One year of customer service experience, strongly preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of CSA Training and Testing, provided by CoreFirst Bank & Trust, required.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. Must handle confidential information appropriately.

- Must maintain a working knowledge of CoreFirst Bank & Trust products and services to effectively make referrals to customers.
Customer Sales Associates are assigned a home branch, however, there may be days when they are required to work at another branch location. Travel is primarily local during the business day, for the purpose of training and covering shifts within the Topeka area. Some local evening and weekend travel may be occasionally required for training or Bank meetings.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
