Reports To Branch Supervisor
Classification Full-time or part-time; Non-exempt
Location Customer Service Associates will go through a trainee period, during which they will work at various Topeka branch locations. At the end of this 30-45 day period, they will select a home branch.
Hours Hours vary by branch location. Shifts are available between:
7:00am – 7:00pm Monday through Friday
9:00am – 4:00pm Saturday
10:00am – 3:00pm Sunday

The Customer Service Associate meets the day-to-day needs of the Bank’s customers by providing excellent customer service and performing transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, has an accommodating attitude toward Bank customers, and exhibits the ability to contribute as a team member, while having a sense of pride in doing high quality work.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
80% Proficiently processes customer transactions in a courteous, professional, accurate, and timely manner, following Bank policies and procedures. Answers questions, resolves problems, and finds solutions for customers.
15% Assists with record keeping, branch operational logs, etc.
5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience Six months customer service experience, including cash handling, required.
Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of CSA Training and Testing, provided by CoreFirst Bank & Trust, required.
Interpersonal Skills Courtesy, customer service, and tact are essential elements of the job. Must handle confidential information appropriately.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Some light physical effort required.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, for the purpose of training and covering shifts at other branch locations. Some local evening and weekend travel may be occasionally required for training, Bank meetings, and/or covering shifts at various branch locations.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
